Terms & Conditions

1. What Parakh is

Parakh is operated by Keshav Gupta, a sole proprietor based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India (“we”, “us”). By ordering a check you agree to these terms.

A check is a search of public records about a business you name by its GSTIN. We look at what the GST register publishes about that registration, and at the published court record, and we return a one-page report setting out what we found and what we could not find.

Every report is read by a person before it is sent. Reports are delivered the same day, not the same minute.

2. What it is not

No score. No rating. No verdict on any party.

A Parakh report is not a credit report, not a credit score or rating, and not legal advice. We offer no opinion on the creditworthiness, honesty or reliability of any business or person. Credit scoring on a business is reserved for credit information companies registered under the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005, and we are not one.

Where a report marks a finding FLAG, CLEAR or NOTE, that mark describes the finding — one public fact and how it reads — and never the party.

The decision to extend credit, to trade, or to walk away is yours alone. A report is one input to it.

3. Price

The first check on a new account is free, once per verified WhatsApp number. Every check after it is ₹200, inclusive of all charges. There is no subscription and no recurring payment. Payments are collected through Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

We check that the GSTIN resolves to a real registration before asking you to pay, so that a GSTIN we cannot work with never becomes a charge you have to argue about.

4. Your side of it

5. What we can and cannot promise

We search sources we do not control and cannot correct. A report describes what those sources published, as at the date and time of the search, and it says so on its face. Records may be incomplete, delayed, mis-keyed at the source, or filed under a name that does not match the one you gave us.

Where the record is silent or the identity is uncertain, we say so rather than guessing. Every report carries a fixed section stating what the search could not find. A search that returns nothing adverse is not a statement that there is nothing adverse to find.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a check is limited to the fee you paid for that check. We are not liable for any trading loss, bad debt or business decision made after reading a report.

6. Changes, and governing law

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you order a check is the one that applies to it, and the date above tells you when it last changed.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
